Kristian Riis is a musician in the Danish band Nephew and a serial entrepreneur based between Copenhagen and Los Angeles. Founder and CEO of NordicLA building careers for nordic artists and creative companies in the US. Riis is also involved in city planning – among other projects Sydhavnen in Aarhus building incubator programs for creative start ups and promoting culture as the main driver for business creating better lives and inspirational places to work and live.
He has been working for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, founded the national music export office MXD, started two music festivals, and Theatre and co-owns 9 companies within tech and creative industries. Recently he became partner in the Venture Capital Fund, byFounders.
