Claus is CEO and Partner at NREP with overall responsibility for the management of the NREP organization, including NREP strategy and operations, organizational development and business development.
Claus has extensive experience from acquisitions, developments and business development, operations and management within real estate. From 2008 to 2017,Claus was CEO of Pelican Self Storage, one of the operating platforms that NREP has built, which he led from an idea to one of the leading self-storage companies in Europe.
Prior to joining NREP, Claus gained experience at the Boston Consulting Group and JP Morgan focusing on commercial assignments for infrastructure and telecommunications clients and advised on multiple transactions in the retail pharmaceutical and chemical sectors involving both private equity and corporate clients.
