About the Urban Land Institute

The Urban Land Institute (ULI) is a non-profit research and education organisation supported by its members. Founded in Chicago in 1936, the institute now has over 40,000 members in 75 countries worldwide, representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines, working in private enterprise and public service.

ULI has been active in Europe since the early 1990s and today we have over 3,200 members. We have a particularly strong presence in the major European real estate markets of UK, Germany, France and the Netherlands but are also active in emerging markets such as Turkey and Poland.
